September Saturday with the Olsens

Gregg and Terrell had plans to go mountain biking together on the 22nd of September, so Heather and the kids and I decided to make some fun plans of our own to hike at Pow Mow while the boys biked.  Those plans grew to include a trip up the gondola at Snowbasin for lunch in the Needles Lodge (fries! burgers! yum!) and a little park time at the bottom for good measure.  What a beautiful day in the great outdoors with some fun favorite people!

While the guys biked the Brim, we hiked to the
Paper Airplane, of course.

We love the "tree house" along this trail.  Made for the perfect
photo op of these cuties.

Turning into fall up here!

Paper airplane fort time.

Group shot!

"Watch this trick!"

These are obviously Heath and Grace selfies, but she sent them
to me because the Callie photo bomb in the background of the
series is pretty funny.

I have to agree.  :D

Back up the trail we go.  Our timing was insane -
we pulled into the parking lot where the dads
were finishing up their ride at pretty nearly the
exact same time they did!

Gracie's first "gongola" ride - I think she liked it!

His orange soda mustache wouldn't wash off - so
he sported it the rest of the day.  Ha!

  1. Grace still talks about the "gongola"! I think it helps her remember since on those blocks you gave her for her birthday there is a picture of a gondola on one. "It's a gongola! I rode a gongola!"
