Boxing Day Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with the Elwood gang on Boxing Day, Sunday, 26 December. We all met at my parents' house after church to open presents, eat food, ring chimes, sing songs, read the Christmas story, and eat more food. It was so good to be back together, the first time in a long time!

since the room looks so tidy between everyone.

Evy fits in the box! (This was a very
skinny box, by the way.) (Also note adorable

The big girls got sketch pads and oil pastels
from grandpa and grandma great.

The boys got tractors that you can take
apart with a screw driver from the greats.

Great Grandma with Cooper, one of her
youngest greats.

Sam gave Bradley some of his own car/train collection
in addition to the lego set he picked at the store.

Gregg gave Shelly a foam roller.

I gave Ky a whisk and some baking kits from
King Arthur Flour and some Lake Champlain Chocolate.
(I don't know what this face means. Ha)

Gregg got some grippy work gloves from
Heatha.

Nate and Shelly gave Heather and me five year journals.

Evy gave Sam something fun. (I can't remember
or tell what it was from this pic. Whoops)

Callie got a friendship bracelet kit from Zoe.

This is what happens when I set the table. ;)
(Ky and Mugs made these plates in preschool and I busted
them out for them for dinner.)

Chimes time - the kids are getting big enough to do their parts
by themselves and we sounded pretty good, I'll say.

It was a marvelous day just being together and showering each other with love. Truly a Merry Christmas!
