Grandpa and Grandma Blanchard have a fun tradition of taking their grandkids on special one-on-one birthday dates each year, starting when they turn four. Sam has been looking forward to having his turn for a birthday date, and at last the day came on Friday, September 13th. He chose to go to the train museum in Ogden (where he was quite the little tour guide, I hear - G and G hadn't ever been, but Sam knew where all the cool things were and showed them around expertly!) and then to lunch at Pat's (tater tots for the win!). Grandma and Grandpa also brought him a present and a cake and basically it was the best. day. ever! for this cute little four-year-old boy!
