We did it! We hiked in February! (In addition to our Little Wild Horse Slot Canyon, Goblin Valley and Canyonlands hiking.) We also walked, skied and skated, as per usual in winter. It was a good outdoorsy month! We truly felt so lucky to have activities we were all excited about to get us outside all winter. Game changer, for sure! We didn't worry about snow days or extra cold days because it meant we could play!

A cloudy day, but still fun skiing. (I rode the lift up by myself behind the rest of the fam all riding together on the triple.)

This was a fun thing for Gregg this winter - to get up and hike at Nordic in the mornings before the resort opened and have a seat at the top, take in the view, and get one perfect run back down to the bottom.
We met up with our friends the Thompsons at the ice rink after they finished school and had a blast skating and hockey-ing with them on the ice.
16, 17 Feb 2022: Solo Walks Around the Loop
The sunsets were just lovely as I made my way around the neighborhood two evenings in a row. I can tell the days are getting longer, just a titch, and I am HERE for it!
Another solo momming morning, I might add! I must say we're getting pretty good at this routine! (Gregg had meetings this morning so we had to leave him behind, bummer!)

19 Feb 2022: Huntsville Ice Rink, with Dad
Just Cal and Gregg this afternoon at the rink. He got her working on crossover steps. (We don't really know what they are called, but they look cool!)
25 Feb 2022: Nordic Valley Powder Day!
Our Friday fieldtrip this morning was to the slopes, just me and the kids again. It gets easier every time and we had a blast on the soft, fluffy, fresh few inches of snow!

25 Feb 2022, continued: Neighborhood Walkie
I did the loop and then couldn't stop and ended up down by the park. It was a glorious day!
