Gingerbread Houses at Grandma's House

We headed back to Cache Valley on Saturday (the 27th) afternoon for Gingerbread day at my grandma's house. I love this tradition, and it was great to be back at her house decorating our houses. My mom made all the gingerbread for her grandies, but my grandma's never-ending candy supply came out, as usual. It was fun to decorate with my cousins Macie and MaKinna, too. I think you'll agree we had a successful and creative time . . . and probably decorated with at least as much candy as was eaten!

Setting up candy.

Sam and I built together, and Cal and Grandma
were partners.

Sweet chaos!

Cute Cooper with the toys from the closet.

Grace and Coop's finished products.

Time for a group shot! (And see if you can spy
Macie's trick. ;)

Evelyn, Callie, Bradley, Grace, Cooper and Sam

And the grandmas need to be in there, too!

I love that my dad made one this year!

I don't know whose these are, but . . . ta-da!

Lookin' good!

So creative!

Sam's peep on the roof. Ha!

Cal's cutie.

So many twizzlers!

I spy another peep.

Yum!

Grandma and the kids played out in the leaves for a few
minutes (to burn of a bit of sugar, hopefully?).

And here are ours, home on their perch on top of the bookshelf.
I love catching a whiff every time I walk past them!

Cal's side yard details: a sled, a fire pit, among other things.

Sam made a shack/fort and fire pit for his three little
bears who live in his house.
