Thankful Feathers

We're at it again with the Thankful turkey and our daily (usually; sometimes we forget and have to catch up with two the next day) ritual of adding a thankful feather to his plumage.

Here's a mid-month view of the turkey.
They were making a real effort to make it look
"nice" and not crazy like in past years.
And every day they took turns being scribe,
so Sam had even days and Cal had odd
and they even kept their feathers separate
and with their own patterns on the bird.
