We were in need of some Olsen time so we decided to combine that with water time and have a fabulous summer day. We met up with Heather and Gracie and Cooper at the Roy Aquatic Center one Friday (9 July) for a few hours of splashing, jumping, sliding and swimming. And if that wasn't enough fun, we added in snowcones for good measure. (We were lucky to get them, though! We arrived at the Hooper stand (we were looking for something close but NOT on Riverdale road, and Hooper was it) and noticed the sign said it was closed. But there were a couple guys outside and they offered to set us up with treats anyway - they were experiencing a power outage and had just got the generator hooked up so they wouldn't lose their ice, but since they were still there, they'd shave us some ice. Phew!)
