North Logan Pumpkin Walk

The pumpkin fun continues! Heather's fam was spending a couple days of their fall break at Grandma's house in Providence, so we joined them on Friday the 20th to play and pick apples for Ky and to visit the Pumpkin Walk in North Logan. Tradition! (For 40 years now!) It was a warm, bright day, the crowds were not too crazy, and we had a gaggle of cousins and aunts and grandpa and grandma to walk through the scenes with. Such a fun afternoon!

But first: apples! We got all those apples from
one teeny tree and one normal tree at Ky's house.
(Not to mention those beauties of tomatoes that my
parents had picked when they were green from their
garden and let ripen in the garage.) Harvest!

While we waited for everyone to gather
at the entrance, we had fun posing in the
photo op cutouts.

The Grinch!

Bowzer from the Mario Movie.

Everyone loves Bluey (except us, who
haven't watched it yet!).

This is a 40th anniversary scene, with lots of favorites
from years past all mingling together in one big Halloween
party.

This is based on an actually guy who drives around to events
and parades (and will come to your party if you hire him)
with his little car (that car, I think!) crammed full of animals!

Honey, I shrunk the kids. Oh, that ant scene was seared
into my brain when I was little!

Barbie! Of course!

More mario. The kids loved this one!

Those cute little toadstools!

I like the volcano in this one. And the rainbow!

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour worked great in the gaga ball
pit.

ET . . . another movie that stuck in my brain
as a kid. Ack.

LEGO Ninjago! Zoe was super excited about this one.

Ah, Napoleon Dynamite. Classic.

This one was my fave! Done by the family
of the original Pumpkin Walk makers.

I didn't realize trolls were still (again)
a thing.

But they were cute.

Read Me A Memory. Awww. There was a song with this
title written by a local musician Jay Richards way back when
and we had a CD of it and so as soon as I saw this scene the song
popped in my head.

I always love these intricately carved pumpkins in the
bowery and this year their theme was Winnie the Pooh!

Oof! Stuck in Rabbit's door hole.

Eeyore was always my fave.

Loved reading this history. And our claim
to fame (?) is that my uncle Dennis and his friends
were the boys who vandalized the first display. Eep!

Sistahs!

This Hansel and Gretel scene was huge and
had so much detail!

Going into the gingerbread house.

Hansel in the cage.

The witch pushed into the fire.

Look at that table of treats!

More photo ops.

And of course, we have to have this one.

Fun day with the fam!
