The fun wasn't over for Saturday the 28th! After everyone left to their separate ways after the Baptism and the pumpkin carving, the kids and I headed to the library for their Oktoberfest activity. Obviously we love the library and all the fun programs they have, but we really wanted to go to this one to support our friend (fave?) librarian Mikayla who put this whole thing together. She worked hard and went all out and we wanted to share the fun with her. We had fun doing the craft activities, petting the big draft horse outside, eating snacks, learning about the history and tradition of Oktoberfest, and listening to the Bavarian music and Alphorn band!

A walk around the library led to stations with info and pictures. |

Not related to Oktoberfest, but cute and Halloweeny. They always make a display out of a pumpkin based on a book. This year it's Pout Pout Fish! |
Not sure what this game had to do with Oktoberfest, but it was hard to get those balls through that big, yodeling (?) mouth! |
