Christmas Song-A-Day Countdown [19 Dec]
From one of our favorite must-watch holiday shows (even though this year we both fell asleep for most of it - can you say sleep deprived? - good thing we've seen it so many times it doesn't actually matter if we see the whole thing), I present to you Somewhere In My Memory. Did you know the score was composed by John Williams? Seriously great stuff! One final random thing - whenever we're flying and the captain turns on the seatbelt light, the "ding-dong" sound always reminds Gregg and me of this song. (Nerd alert.)

Christmas Song-A-Day Countdown [18 Dec]
This is one from our old Reader's Digest Christmas records that used to play over and over and over during the holidays. (The music lives on in CD/digital form nowadays - thank heavens for technology!)

Christmas Song-A-Day Countdown [17 Dec]
I found myself reciting the poem that President Monson shared during the First Presidency devotional a few weeks ago right along with him, but I didn't know why I knew it until I heard this song again. It's not a super common carol, but I have always loved it and its message.

Christmas Song-A-Day Countdown [16 Dec]
Maybe this is kind of of a cheesy Christmas tradition, but I do love listening to this CD every year.

Christmas Song-A-Day Countdown [15 Dec]
Handel was pretty amazing, if you ask me. I love this song from The Messiah.

Christmas Song-A-Day Countdown [14 Dec]
This is another dating back to the Adams Elementary days. I don't think I've heard it anywhere else, but it was always a favorite back then.
