Dino Park

I got a call from my Aunt Joan at the end of July inviting me to join her and her daughters and their kids for a little outing to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden.  I chatted with my mom (Joan is her sister) and she had (or made) a free Tuesday that week (August 2nd), so she decided to come down to join us.  We met the Fullmer clan around lunchtime, picnicking with them inside the park before exploring inside the museum (moving animatronic dinosaurs! huge skeletons! indoor bone digging!).  When we had our fill of the inside stuff, we ventured out into the hot, hot afternoon to play on the playground and see all the giant statues outside.  If you forget the heat, it was a pretty great adventure with lots of cousins and second cousins.

Digging for bones in the outside sand "quarry".

Cal LOVED this part - both inside with the weird
rubber pellets and outside in the sand .
She probably would have stayed in either of these
places with a brush all day if I'd let her.

Future paleontologists, eh?

Driving the wheel with Drake.

And Millie needs a turn, too.

AAaaagh!

Best we could get from the kid group shot.
Ha!

Even more digging!
