The Monday after I got home from Maine, it was Gregg's turn for a week back East. He was in Vermont for work and a day in Connecticut with Laurel's family for a fun little visit before flying back home on Saturday. We kept things pretty normal around here for the beginning of the week: library day on Monday, swimming lessons for Cal on Tuesday, Music Makers on Wednesday . . . but then Thursday (November 9th) came and we threw all the "normals" out the door and headed North to Grandpa and Grandma's house for a couple of days. It was great, as usual, to hang out with family and friends (some of which was documented below, while other times the phone stayed in my purse, so the photo evidence was nil). We did a lot of playing with cars and dress-ups downstairs in the play room, and puzzles and no-match upstairs in the living room. We had lunch one day at Great-Grandma Elwood's kitchen table, and another day at Chick-fil-A with friends. We even spent Saturday morning playing (and feasting on pupusas, thanks to Nate and Shelly for picking those up!) at the Bounce and Slide with cousins. And there were plenty of snuggles and stories for all.
