Treehouse Time

We've lived twenty minutes away from the Treehouse Museum in Ogden for almost two years, and finally we made it to visit (and in the process we purchased a year-long membership for our fam).  I don't know what took us so long!  It's a great spot to take the kids on a cold or rainy day (or any other kind of day, but that seems to be the most popular time!).  The first time I took the kids we didn't even see a quarter of the exhibits/activities because Cal and Sam were so content to play with the first things they saw.  Right now they have a whole section about Clifford the Big Red Dog, and Cal and Sam are both on a Clifford kick, so that is extra fun.  We had a blast.  A week later we took Grandma E along on a visit.  It was super handy to have an extra adult so each child had a shadow as we explored the entire museum that day.  Here are some of the highlights:

9 Feb 2017:

A little cafe based on Clifford characters.  This was a huge hit.

In the old-fashioned one-room schoolhouse.

Sam loved this little bridge - he went up and
down and up and down while Cal was occupied
elsewhere.

Clifford's tail was a slide!

Delivering mail to Birdwell Island residents
was also a favorite of Cal's.

17 Feb 2017:
This time we made it upstairs and found the fire
engine!

And, I guess I forgot to take pics of the other fun things: train tables, giant blocks, another cafe, a produce stand, a music room, a hospital . . . This place is fun!  (Now, how do we keep our kids healthy after going to the germ fest?)

  1. What a fun looking museum. It kind of reminds me of the children's museum in Salt Lake when we were little. Remember how we loved the grocery store area?

  2. Also, Cal looks like Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl in that top photo. :)
