Meg / Mag Birthday

Megan invited us to spend the day at Tony Grove to celebrate her birthday on the 31st. We jumped at the chance to visit one of our all-time favorite spots on planet earth! And it did not disappoint (at least once everyone found a parking spot - it was full when we got there and we had to wait for White Pine hikers to leave so we could park). We hiked around the lake, ate lunch at our favorite spot, and then it started raining (not complaining!) so we headed down-canyon. We made a pit stop so see the amazing beaver dam near the temple fork sawmill trailhead (busy beavers!). Then we spent the afternoon visiting, playing and watching Olympics at my parent's house. Nate and fam and Great Gpa and Gma Elwood came over for dinner and presents and cake and ice cream and a wonderful party was had by all. So fun to celebrate these birthday buddies born on the same day 23 years apart!

Most of the wildflowers were past their prime, but
the fireweed was looking lovely (and reminding me of
Grandpa T).

Future Olympic speed climbers?

I've never seen these lilies (?) on Tony
Grove before.

Check out that engineering!

Lego birthday message from Cal.

Babies making their move to the kid table!

Talent show posers.

Present time!

Grandma gave Maggie a cute musical book, and Maggie,
who LOVES music, was entranced and bustin' moves
for every song. :D

Happy Birthday to you!
Cake time! "It's chockit!"

Cute cuzzies planning mischief, no doubt.
