Thanks for This Turkey

Our mid-month turkey progress.

(I mostly needed to get a "thanksgivingy" looking pic
for my free shutterfly calendar that I was working on
and had to be ordered before Thanksgiving. ;)

It's December now, which means we have put away the last of our Thanksgiving decorations (I'm adamant that our Thankful Turkey stays up all the way to the end of November, even if we have Christmas things up all around it . . . see last photo!). And it's time to record here on the ol' blog just what we have been thankful for this month.

We started out with dates on each feather, but that fizzled pretty quickly, so these are mostly in a random order. But that doesn't really matter, does it?

What a beautifully feathered turkey this year - they really
tried hard to make it even and "nice". This is how I envisioned
our turkey looking when I first designed this little tradition.
But honestly? I kinda miss the wackadoodle placement
of years past. ;)

Thanksgiving and Christmas - together in peace.

In case you're like me and want easy access of all the thankful turkeys we've ever created . . . well, here you go: 20212020201920182017201620152014.
