Halloweening {Pumpkin Patch}

Driving through Liberty one day early in October, I noticed a big sign advertising a "U-pick" pumpkin patch, just off the highway.  I thought it sounded like a fun and simple FHE activity, and much more festive than choosing a pumpkin from the grocery store (though there's nothing wrong with that route either).  We ventured out on a lovely "apple crisp October day."  A Wednesday evening (sometimes FHE is every night . . . or something?) early in the month (October 7th) so we could enjoy the pumpkins on our porch for as long as possible.

Here we are, the pumpkin farm!

Cal helped pick out a "teeny tiny" one for Sam.

We scoured the field for the perfect "huge"
pumpkin for Callie.

Hands in pockets.  Always.
