There's No Place Like Home

We went up to Logan for USU's Homecoming festivities on Saturday, October 14th.  All week had been warm and sunny, but Saturday dawned downright chilly and mostly stayed that way the whole day.  BUT, it wasn't raining (or snowing, for that matter), so there was really little to complain about.  It was a fun day of family, parade, food, and football.  And candy!  (Don't forget the candy!)

Bundled parade-waiters.  The credit union gave out hot chocolate
in front of their building next door to where we sat (not pictured),
so that was a cozy treat for a chilly morning.

Show me a true blooded Aggie from Utah . . .

Donut hole face.

Bradley bear was cozy on Grandma's lap.

Moved up to the prime candy catching spots.

We were all layered to the max.  And it was a good thing, too!

Our "shortcut" to the stadium led us across the canal.

New stadium looking sassy.  (My first time in the newly named
Maverik Stadium since it was finished and renamed.)

There was a good crowd.

How he watches football.

Go Aggies, Go Aggies, Hey Hey Hey!
(We got the shady seats, so the bundling continued all day.)

Her favorite thing about the game was eating
all the snacks.

The whole fam damily.  (Ev was asleep, so you can't see her in
this pic, darnit.)  (Also, Sam's face kills me!)

We're an Aggie family, that's fo' sho'.

Being hand fed popcorn - this is the life, eh
Gracie?

I don't even remember the score.  But we lost.  Naturally.  Ah, the life of an Aggie fan.  Good thing we don't need a W on the scoreboard to have a fun day.
