Adventuring {June's Monday Night Hikes}

Another month of MNHs comin' at ya, and amazingly enough they were all on Mondays!

"Sammy, show me your dirty face!"

This is one of my favorites - the views are
stunning!  And it was fun to see the lake
level so high - we've normally come in the fall
when it's lower.

12 June 2017: Pioneer Trail Northeast (Eden) (the other side of this one we did in May)

It was kind of rainy and cold most of the day,
so I wasn't sure if we'd get to hike, but by
evening it was lovely and perfect and we went.

A new "bad weed" to add to our mental id list:
Blue Spurge - don't touch it!  The sap can cause
severe skin irritation, including blisters.

I really really really like these humans.

The sign at our turn around spot - so I called the trail the Stoney
Point Trail for a day or so, until I learned it's true name, linked
above.

(No hike on the 19th because we were in Cache Valley for our Elwood Staycation - but I probably could include our Minnetonka Cave adventure on Tuesday the 20th since that was indeed a hike!  I'll link to the post here when I get it finished.)

bonus videos!

Sincerest smiles.

Super thrilled to be on this hike, eh?
