I have lots June posts up here, and yet, here I am again, with a massive photo round up. I take too many pictures. But apparently I can't stop/won't stop. So, you might as well enjoy our miscellaneous June-ness here:

6.13.17 |
|
6.13.17

|
6.18.17 |
|
6.18.17 |
|
6.22.17
(one of these things is not like the others - our experiment in
action. my hypothesis is that the pinecones are leaching
something nasty into the soil of the first bucket, thus stunting
the growth of the plant. we dumped out the pincones, replaced
them with rocks, and repotted the first plant this afternoon
to see if we can save it) |
|
6.24.17
(a rare Saturday morning hike - this is our
favorite trail lately since we can walk to it
and our usual favorite at the north arm
trailhead has been closed due to flood
damage from the spring runoff) |
|
6.24.17 |
|
6.25.17

(fashion queen) |
|
6.26.17
(#blanchardbooklove meets #dailystrollin this a.m.
Mr. Paint Pig is Sam's current fave) |
|
6.26.17 |
|
6.27.17
(mom and cal time project for the birds) |
|
6.27.17
(I knew she'd like this part best - just like sprinkles!) |

|
6.28.17
(we moved our daily mom and cal time game
of no match outdoors today) |
|
6.28.17
(another of our favorite mom and cal time activities - reading
a book . . . and in the hammock is just icing on the top) |
|
6.28.17
(finished another chapter book - Ralph has been
a fun series to read together) |
|
6.28.17
(sum sum summatime) |
|
6.28.17
(maybe we should call it "mom and cal and min time"?) |
|
6.28.17
(this corny kid LOVES corn on the cob - almost
as much as his sister) |
|

|
6.29.17
(babywearing babies) |
|
6.30.17
(day 30.
Heather asked for an update on our repotted tomato - here it is:
not much has changed except the other two have gotten bigger
with more blossoms. but there might be a bit of new green
growth at the base of the sick plant, so I'm still holding out hope) |
|
6.30.17
(just had to document her love of and ability to solve coded
messages - I mean, look at her letters! - next step,
understanding the riddle/joke that has been decoded) |
|
6.30.17
(we love Robert McCloskey) |
|
6.30.17
(and the peas - Cal always loved to find the ladybug on each
page when she was younger (well, as still does today), but
now Sam has discovered the fun of the ladybug hunt, too) |
|
6.30.17
(some great non fiction from the library this week) |
|
6.30.17
(and our other library bag faves - that didn't really fit in
any of the "categories" above - we had a lot this week!) |
So so so appreciate these wonderful photos! We miss you!!But happy and grateful to be serving in Ohio!!
ReplyDeleteA few thoughts on your June: a) Sam looks like an astronaut in the first photos, b) Cal's smiles in the Sunday photo shoot kill me, and c) we got the Go! Go! Go! book from the library too (Grace didn't really like it. It's funny that she definitely has her favorites even at this young age).
