Tour of Utah Snowbasin Finish

Stage Two of the Tour of Utah had its finish at Snowbasin on Tuesday, August 1st.  We decided to skip seeing the riders zip by our corner, and left home before they got there so we could beat them to the finish line and cheer them on as they rode in.  Cal loved the booths and all the "prizes" she could win (a cow bell (good thing, too, since we left ours (that we had picked up two years ago at the Logan finish) at home on accident), a donut, a cup, a reusable grocery bag).  She also loved the little strider course that the U of U had set up for kids her age.  Watching the end of a race is always exciting, especially when the winner powers past the leader in the final few seconds.  So fun!

The guy in red ended up finishing first in this stage, a few meters
past our view point.

These dudes are strong.  And fast.

Our final view of the final riders - from our car as we waited
to head back home so Gregg could get back to work.
