Vermont 2023 {Jay Peak Tram Ride . . . and Disc Golf}

4 October 2023 - Our last day in Jay! We had school and work in the morning and then had one last adventure on the tram ride to the top of the mountain. Yes, we had already been to the top by foot, but this was the thing Sam really wanted to do before we left, so we did it. It's always a fun ride. This year was a bit crowded (lots of retired folks on vacation) and much hotter than usual (80+ degrees again!) but we still had a marvelous time. What a place!

We read this one to go along with the novel
Peacemaker and it was interesting to hear the same
story but with some variation in details between
the two.

Just a really cool word for goosebumps!

Peak to past peak on those leaves - they came on
slowly and then kapow! they were done!

A little hazy up here, but not as bad as it had been.

We wanted to play one more round of disc golf before we left, so that evening before dinner, Sam, Gregg and I headed out for a game (and mushroom and leaf pics, naturally). Cal stayed back at the condo and got dinner ready for us! (What a girl!)
