Vermont Relocation Vacation {10/20-10/21: Rainy Days}

We had a couple days of rainy and windy weather, so we hunkered down at the condo doing school and video chatting with family (I think we used three different platforms for three different visits). We did sneak out as we could for some walks around the resort, too. Not a thrilling blog post, for sure, but a peek into our "ordinary days".

Tuesday, 20 October:

Puddle splashers.

Wednesday, 21 October:

For her writing lessons this week, Cal learned about
and practiced writing things that needed steps. She learned
about keeping them in order and adding details. This was
one of her midweek assignments.

And here was her "final" assessment, putting together
everything she had learned (including
the "new" use of next and then and finally instead of
numbering the steps and revising and writing in her
best handwriting). I was quite impressed! (And yes,
we have tasted the sauce that she made up and it is yummy!)

We talked to my mom while she
was making apple pie!

Zoe was there, too, so we got
to say hi to her.

I think Cal and Sam think they are taking
pics of themselves when they take these
facetime stills. But instead we get to see
the folks on the other side of the screen.
