Gregg's First Disc Golf Tournament

Gregg had a goal of participating in a disc golf tournament this summer, so when he found one that would be set up on Old Main Hill on a weekend (August 14th) when we were available, he signed right up! It was sponsored by Infinite Discs in Logan and run by the daughter-in-law of a guy in our ward who Gregg plays disc golf with sometimes (her husband/his son is actually a pro disc golfer who works at Infinite, too). The tournament had a nice, chill vibe to it and Gregg was excited to give it a shot.

We tagged along to watch; he and his group were good sports to let us follow them through the first handful of holes. (And I didn't take a single pic of him playing! Drat!) Then the kids and I went to North Logan to watch Bradley play his soccer game and to visit with Nate's fam and my parents who were also watching. We met back up with Gregg after he finished his round to eat lunch on Old Main and wait for the scores to come through. He came in tied for 3rd for his division!

One of our summer bucket list items was to get Aggie Ice Cream cones, so after a visit to Adams Park down the road for a few minutes, we met up again with Nate, Bradley, Evy and my parents to enjoy a nice creamy cold treat.

We took a tour of the quad while Gregg
was signing in and getting warmed up.

The map of the course. Gregg started on hole 15
and we watched him through hole 2 before heading back up the hill
and out to the soccer game.

Aggie Blue Mint for this fellow!

Boys section.

Girls section. (Cal chose a float
with orange sherbet and 7-up!)
