Photos from Phones - May 2018 Round Up

Here I am, a broken record (again), but seriously, how can I take so. many. pictures?  There are eleven posts this month (most of them are our vacation pics, which honestly I did pare down even though it doesn't seem like it!) and I still have a jam packed round up post of all the other stuff.  It's a disease, maybe.  But I kind of love it.  :)

5.2.18
(snapped this to share with my sis and mom this
cute library find)

5.3.18
(just some Thursday morning snuggles and stories)

5.4.18
(stole this from my mom because I wasn't there,
but it's just too cute not to share.
Nate graduated with his MBA
the day before Megan graduated with her BS,
so Mugs wore her cap and gown to after his ceremony
so they could pose for this matchy-matchy grad pic.)

5.5.18
(it was super windy and chilly waiting for Mugs to march by in
her graduation procession to the spectrum)

5.5.18
(there she is!)

5.5.18
(for some reason this was a movie, instead
of a picture, but I'm saving the "photo"
anyway because they're just too cute.
here's the little video, for the full effect)

5.5.18
(proud of this sista!)

5.5.18
(popsicle cousins at the graduation/cinco de mayo
party at my parents' house)

5.6.18
(her new favorite game is Set and she can womp
her parents something fierce when we play)

5.7.18
(he decided he wanted to spend some of his own
money on a car at Valley Market - and he was so
proud!)

5.7.18
(operation pack all this stuff into two suitcases
and backpacks)

5.7.18
(Success!!)

5.8.18
(just making some strawberry jam before we leave
on a week-long trip)

5.8.18
(nbd)

5.8.18
(YES!)

5.8.18
(just a little "fieldtrip" to a friend's house to visit their baby ducks)

5.8.18
(one of the great things about living in Eden)

5.16.18
(post-trip laundry pile of dooooom)

5.17.18
(she made a store out of the duplos at the library)

5.17.18
(her first ever "creation" in this medium, so I had
to document.  I thought it was cute and clever.)

5.17.18
(kimma's kitchen view - note: only one of those avocado pits
did anything special)

5.17.18
(3:38 pm.  still in jammies.  vacation hangover
is real)

5.18.18
(Eden in spring, man, I'm tellin' ya!)

5.18.18
(my friend Erin organized a darling bug picnic
at the park this morning)

5.18.18
(everyone brought bug-themed snacks which were adorable
and delicious)

5.18.18
(and Erin read us bug-themed stories while we
munched - so fun!)

5.18.18
(a moody walk home from paying the water bill)

5.18.18
(what you get when you try to solo-hold five tired/crazy/wiggly
nieces and nephews at your farewell party)

5.18.18
(there are tons of these, but they're so hilarious I'm keeping them
all!)

5.18.18
(we'll miss you, Mugs!!)

5.19.19
(a sassy summer sunset in the making - this is looking east!)

5.19.19
(beware! there are going to be a bunch of these, too)

5.19.18

5.19.18
(this is the one I ended up sharing on insta - but man, can you
blame me for having a hard time choosing?)

5.19.18
( especially loved those contrails lighting up so brightly)

5.19.18
(looks like something you'd see in a movie of the
creation)

bonus video!

5.21.18
("mommy, it's day, mom!  mommy, open my door, mom!"
every. day. at 6 am.  He's cute, though, so there's that.)

5.21.18
(we started meeting our friends Charlie and Erin
on the bike path that goes near the reservoir
before we head to the library on Mondays - it's
fun to get a walk in with friends before it's hot
and it's gorgeous, to boot!)

5.21.18
(story time with pal Charlie, and our favorite
librarian Ms. Kirsten. I'm glad I got this pic since
she has since moved on to another branch and we
don't get to see her each week)

5.23.18
(we've been "borrowing" Stan's driveway next door
for evening bike rides.  I love that no one lives there so we're not
bugging anyone, and we're off the road so the kids can ride in safety
(and it's a looong driveway, so they can really get a good ride in!)

5.23.18
(each bike session is usually followed by a visit
to the "stream" across the street)

5.23.18
(it's really an irrigation ditch, but it's
surprisingly lovely)

5.24.18
(dino parkin' it with friends, first thing on a Thursday)

5.24.18
(she was pretty proud she could get to the top of
that thing!  and notice: not another soul in sight.
spoiler alert: it didn't last, but we enjoyed it while
we could)

5.24.18
(having a pass here is the best ever)

5.24.18

5.24.18
(hi Cal, up there in the petrified tree slide!)

5.24.18

5.24.18
(I'm telling you!  "The Stream" is the best!)

5.24.18
(lots of fishing stick action going on)

5.24.18

5.25.18
(Friday morning Dad snuggles!  So glad he's back
from his conference trip!)

5.25.18
(shoppin' for shades)

5.25.18
(the final choice)

5.25.18
(he wears 'em everywhere!)

5.25.18
(I think I already posted the top pic on the flowers post,
but the dandelion in seed on the bottom pic was
too cute not to share, too)

5.25.18
(like mother, like daughter)

5.26.18
(we went bowling with Charlie's family - a little birthday bowling
warm up, if you will)

5.26.18
(chowin' on cheetos with Charlie.
poor Charlie (and his mom!) had an unfortunate
incident with said Cheetos on the way home
involving a windy canyon, orange barf, and the
carseat.  Ooooh.)

5.29.18
(who's ready for the summer kindergarten workshop?
This girl!)

5.29.18
(she loved riding her bike to and from school)

5.29.18
(home again, home again jiggety jog. day one
down and she called it "great!")

5.29.18
(a lovely evening at the temple)

5.30.18
(day two at the bike rack)

5.30.18
(Sam always liked to take the long way home
after dropping Cal off at school, and this morning
we passed this house (which the people who lived
there had to move out of a month or so ago due
to mold) which had a gaping hole in the side
and a hungry excavator going to town on it!)

5.31.18
(next day, less house - Sam loved to see them work)

5.31.18
(yowza!)

5.31.18

5.31.18

5.31.18
(I heard reading going on in the other room, so
I peeked around the corner to see this.  Cal was
"teaching him how to read" by reading a few words
and having Sam repeat.  Then she'd say, "Sam!
You're totally reading!"  It was pretty much adorable.)

5.31.18
(walkin' home from an evening visit to the stream)
