Vermont 2021 {10/13: Lake Eden Afternoon}

On Wednesday the 13th, the dads needed to work the whole day, so we moms just planned a nearby outing for the afternoon after school was finished up. With yet another 70+, calm, gorgeous day, we knew we needed to visit Lake Eden again. This time with swim suits! It was such a delightful afternoon! One of the best yet!

Morning walk to the rock wall for nature journaling.

Leaves are falling all around. (This is just
off the road through our neighborhood.)

THIS is the most gorgeous road in Vermont, I'm convinced.
And we've been enjoying its splendor many times this
week. Because how could we not?!

It seriously feels like we're in Anne of Green
Gables as we drive Cross Rd/North Hill Rd
(it changes names as it crosses town lines)
on the way to Lake Eden.

These kids have become really great pals and it's so
fun to watch them imagine and play together.

I just had to walk through all those leaves
on the road at the lake that leads up the hill to
some RV sites.

We had the place to ourselves for most of the afternoon!

Heaven!
