Vermont 2021 {10/15: Pumpkins and Pizza}

We had another day of school/work in the morning (except Gregg didn't work and played disc golf with his friend/co-worker Chris in Waterbury instead) on Friday the 15th. Later in the afternoon we set out on a great pumpkin hunt. We had passed a cute little pumpkin stand in front of someone's house on one of our drives through North Troy, so decided to try that one out. It did not disappoint. We enjoyed the fun displays and the beautiful pumpkins and the marvelous views and weather. Then we headed back to the condos and carved right then and there on the front lawn. After the carving was done, Christine and I each made a batch of pizza and we all gathered for a potluck at their condo. She taught our family how to play Spoons after dinner, and that brought back lots of fun memories from playing that game in the band room back in the day! A fun and festive fall Friday!

While I was taking a solo walk up around
the upper neighborhoods in the resort,
the kids were on a walk
with Christine right behind our condo
and discovered all these tracks in a heap.

There were lots of cute photo op props set up amongst
the pumpins.

It's carving time!

And pizza time!

After we ate and it was darker, we lit
the candles in the pumpkins. Here's Cal's.

Sam's.

Timmy's.

Zachary's.
